We manage our community giving program around core themes of health, education, social services, the environment, cultural projects, and community enrichment.
We’ve proudly supported members with special needs and regularly invest in local non-profit organizations, and small businesses through corporate donations, sponsorships and partnerships, volunteer programs, and in-branch fundraising to help strengthen our communities and encourage positive change.

Our employees host various fundraisers throughout the year to help support local non-profit organizations. Funds raised, combined with MCU corporate donations, are provided to initiatives specially chosen by our employees and it is through the generosity of our team and members that we are able to make a real impact in the lives of people in our communities. We are proud to be a co-operative financial institution owned by our members. Our members are the focus of all we do and we want to support other co-ops in doing the same. We strive to increase awareness of the benefits of belonging to co-operatives and we offer our co-operative members special perks to help them make the most out of their membership at Momentum. To Going Green
We strive to be socially responsible within our branches by taking measures to reduce our environmental footprint through green initiatives and we encourage our members to do the same. Over recent years, we have taken steps to reduce our energy usage and paper waste with the use of electronic applications to help streamline many processes including the way our employees communicate and transfer documents with each other and our members. We are also proud that almost 95% of our membership receives e-statements in place of paper statements which helps save thousands of trees every year.

We believe you can’t always put a monetary value on support. We love to partner with local organizations, co-ops, and small businesses with similar values to ours in order to help however we can.
