The Walk for Down Syndrome
The MCU team is thrilled to be supporting the Down Syndrome Association of Hamilton (DSAH) again this year by sponsoring The WALK on Sunday, September 30th.
Formed in 1982, DSAH provides support to local families, works to educate the community, and encourages community programs that help enrich the lives of those living with Down syndrome. DSAH hosts The WALK annually in support of the GO21 national awareness campaign hosted by the Canadian Down Syndrome Society. The event aims to increase awareness, understanding, and acceptance of Down syndrome within the community.
The WALK is taking place at Bayfront Park from 8:30am to 12:00pm. In addition to supporting a great cause, there will be raffles, live music, and fun activities for kids! The MCU team will be on-site and we encourage you to join us for this fun-filled day by registering a team, volunteering to help, or donating.
